Class of 2016 Graduation

Mohawk's Class of 2016, families, and friends gathered in the Mohawk gymnasium on Sunday, June 5 for the graduation ceremony. It was an afternoon of celebration made more meaningful with music performances by Mohawk's band, chorus, and rock band, including some of the graduating class members performing for the last time as Mohawk students.

Concert Band plays the Processional as the graduates march into the gym.

Citrus and the Fruit Bowl performs their a capella version of "Parting Glass."

Concert Chorus, with guest performer Kevin Hollister (Mohawk Class of 1976,) performs the Mohawk Alma Mater, written by long-time Mohawk music educator Stanley Smithers. Mr. Smithers' grandson Samuel is a member of the graduating class.
Lark Thwing, Chair of the Mohawk School Committee, handed diplomas to each graduate.
