2. ACDA Festival – You’re Invited! – Saturday, October 24, 5:30pm concert

From Scott Halligan, Music Director:  I would like to invite you to join me and a group of Mohawk students at the Mass ACDA/Umass High School & Collegiate Choral Festival on Saturday, October 24. It would be delightful to have you with us! This is a fantastic event for our students, and I think you would be thrilled to experience it first-hand.

Dr. Jeffrey Douma
Students from all over New England will come to Umass Amherst to participate in the festival, where they will rehearse with Dr. Jeffrey Douma, Yale University Professor of Conducting. Students will also perform a concert at 5:30pm at the Fine Arts Center. Tickets cost $5-10. This year’s repertoire is the classic, iconic, incredibly epic “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff. Prepare to be blown away!

I hope you will consider joining us! Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions: shalligan@mohawkschools.org
