Pies and Potatoes and Performances! Oh My!

A great fall weekend kicks off tonight with Mohawk's Booster Day football game versus Ware High School at 7 pm at Pollard Field. [Update 10/9/15 3:20 pm: parade canceled due to predicted rain.] The parade before the game will feature Mohawk's Band. The parade starts at Arms Academy at 5 pm and goes down Main Street in Shelburne Falls before heading to the school.

The Music Association will be selling pies of all types, by the slice or whole, before, during and after the game. Look for our tent just inside the entry gate. (If you are donating a pie you can drop it off in the music room during the day or at the pie booth prior to the game.)

Bring your appetite because you will also want to visit the Shelburne Falls Lions food building and sample their burgers and fries and other game day delicacies.

Mohawk Music Association Baked Potato Booth at the Ashfield Fall Festival
Saturday and Sunday are the only two days of the year to enjoy one of the Mohawk Music Association's famous Baked Potatoes at the Ashfield Fall Festival! These baked potatoes from the Teddy C. Smiarowski Farm in Hatfield are hefty and delicious, and they come with toppings of your choice: bacon, broccoli, butter, cheese, chives, salsa, salt & pepper, sour cream, taco meat (ground turkey & seasoning.) Plus, if the weather happens to be cold, your baked potato doubles as a hand warmer!

Mohawk's Select Chorus will be performing once again at the Ashfield Fall Festival this year! Sunday, October 11, from 11:00-11:45am Come to check out their latest work! They have a prime time mid-day time slot; Main Street and the town common are sure to be packed! Be sure to get there early to park!
