Williamsburg Trip

[Update 4/29/2015:  Trip photos here, here, here, and here.]

The Mohawk High School Concert Band, Concert Chorus, and Select Chorus will travel to Williamsburg, VA on Thursday, April 23, to participate in the Worldstrides Heritage Performance Festival and Competition, and then return home on Sunday.

Worldstrides Heritage Performance is renowned for their high quality festivals, which are held each year in major American cities (as well as some destinations in Europe). Williamsburg, VA is one of their most popular destinations on the East Coast, and schools from all over the country will be coming to participate.

On the day of the festival, each group will have warm-up and performance time. Performances will be assessed by professional adjudicators (usually faculty members of Universities and Conservatories of Music). Directly after the performance, groups will receive coaching from adjudicators on stage.
