If you missed last night’s exciting performance of “The Crucible”, you have another chance to see our student cast and crew in action.  Please join us for Mohawk’s production of Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible” on Tuesday, December 10, at 6:00 pm in the Mohawk auditorium. Adult tickets are $10, student tickets are $5, and Mohawk students are free! Tickets are available for purchase on the night of the production. To reserve tickets in advance, call (413)-768-9979. Due to the mature themes of this show, we do not recommend that young children attend.

The cast and crew will also put on a performance of “The Crucible” for the high school on Tuesday, December 10, at 8:30 am

The Mohawk High School Concert Chorus is participating in performances of "The Crucible." They perform a haunting adaptation of one of the Psalms, connected to the action in the play.

Announcing the Spring Musical: The Wizard of Oz!

Mohawk Trail Regional School’s Theater Department is excited to announce this spring’s musical will be “The Wizard of Oz” and we would like YOU to be in it! We are looking for students who like to sing, dance and act! Additionally, we are looking for parents, teachers, and students who are interested in helping with other creative aspects of the show too!

Auditions for the high school and middle school will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 2:30-5:00 in the auditorium. Students will be asked to prepare one song from the show, read some lines and learn a group dance! It will be easy and fun! Audition packets are available in the Front Office and they include three songs to choose from plus the dialogue that will be used for the audition.

If you are interested in being in the show but are nervous about singing a solo, please come and talk to me! There are so many options from being in the chorus to working behind the scenes. Don’t let stage fright stop you from coming to auditions!

Even if you can’t work on the show, you can still come to the show! Mark these dates in your calendars – Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8 at 7:00 pm AND Sunday, March 9 at 2:00 pm.  This is a very exciting adventure that I hope many of you will be a part of!

Looking forward to working with all of you!
