Potato Bakers and Booth Workers Needed

Hi music parents,

We still need parents to BAKE POTATOES (we supply the potatoes, foil, and instructions) and/or to work in our tent SELLING POTATOES at the Ashfield Fall Festival on 10/6 and 10/7. Join the fun and meet other music parents.

BAKERS: We still need bakers to sign up for the following time slots (to deliver their piping hot potatoes to the Festival):
Saturday, 10/6: 11 am, 1 pm, 2 pm
Sunday, 10/7: 12 pm, 2 pm

--->> We are handing out the potatoes next Tuesday, 10/2, at Mohawk at 6 pm.

WORKERS: Help!! We need moms and dads to help in the tent at the fair. Nobody signed up to work on Saturday. Can you work one of the following shifts? 9:45-1, 11-2, or 2-5. On Sunday, we need several people for the 11-2 shift and a few people for 2-5 shift.

Thanks for any help you can offer. We depend on parents to pull off this biggest MMA fund-raiser of the year.

Open House, Baked Potato, and Pie (Oh My!)

The Mohawk Music Association will be at the Mohawk Open House on Thursday, September 20 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Look for our table in the hall outside the gym and stop by to chat, pick up a flyer, and give us your email address so we can keep you up-to-date on our activities throughout the school year.

We'll be recruiting volunteers to help with two Fall fundraisers  -  Baked Potato Booth at the Ashfield Fall Festival and Pie Sale at the Booster Day football game. These are important because we raise much of the money we use to support and enrich the music program for our students here at Mohawk and to fund the scholarships we award to Mohawk's graduating seniors. Please sign up to help. If you can't make it to the Open House you may also volunteer by contacting Suzanne.

Baked Potato Booth at the Ashfield Fall Festival
(Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7)

This is usually our largest fundraiser of the year and it takes a well-coordinated team effort to make it work.  We need people to bake potatoes and deliver them to our booth on Main Street in Ashfield and people to work in the booth.

Pie Sale at the Booster Day football game
Mohawk Warriors vs Greenfield Green Wave
Friday, October 12, 7:00 pm

We sell pies from our tent near the Shelburne Falls Kiwanis Club Concession Building beside the Mohawk football field. We're looking for people to bake pies and deliver them to us at the tent. We'll also need help at the tent selling pies.
