Kids in Concert - Refreshments and Help Needed

The Mohawk district's all-elementary-school Kids in Concert event will be held in the Mohawk auditorium next Thursday, 5/5, at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend this fun event that brings together music students in grades 4-6 from all the schools. 

The Mohawk Music Association will be hosting a reception for the participants and their families afterward in the cafeteria. We would very much appreciate donations of goodies that we can serve at the reception. The more that is donated, the less we need to purchase.

This is a first for the MMA, and we think it's a good way to let the families of elementary students know about our organization and start thinking about participating in it. We hope to gather a lot of contact information so we can broadcast information (and, of course, ask for help) to a wider number of families.

If you can contribute refreshments or help, please let me know. That way, we will know how much to buy and how many folks will be there to set up, serve and clean up. You can drop off your donation the evening of the concert or on Wednesday evening at our Music Association meeting (starting at 6 p.m), or you can send it in to the music room during school hours.
