Mohawk Music Association Meeting

The next meeting of the Mohawk Music Association will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Mohawk school cafeteria.

Agenda:

1. Secretary’s Report –accept minutes
2. Treasurer’s Report
3. Music Directors Report (or music student council)
4. Old Business
      Bylaw updates –should it be posted on MMA website, vote on 2 remaining by-law changes (see Nov. minutes)
      Scholarship application form
      Nashville trip and status of our monetary contribution
5. New Business
      Other music department funding needs
      Musical and alternate trip plans

Annual Winter Concert

Thursday, December 16, at 6:30 pm in the school auditorium.

Performances by all Mohawk Music Department High School and Middle School Ensembles.

The Mohawk Music Association will be having a 50/50 raffle and selling refreshments (cookies and other baked goods, coffee, juice, & water).

The snow date for the Concert is Tuesday, December 21 at 6:30 pm.

Volunteers needed:
We would appreciate donations of baked goods and/or your help in the lobby that evening. If you can bake, please wrap items individually for sale for $1.00 (a brownie, a large cookie, a few small cookies, etc.). We always need help with clean up after the concert, and we can use help at the table during the intermission rush. Please join us if you can.

  • Moonlight Magic and NEBB concert review

  • Nashville trip (DoraThea will be sending out an update and itinerary before the meeting.)
  • Whether we are willing to handle student payments for the trip
  • The level of MMA financial involvement
