Marching Band in Colrain

Mohawk's Marching Band paraded down Main Street in the Coleraine Village Fair on Saturday, September 18. They sounded good and added a festive flair to the largest parade in Colrain in recent memory: two bands (Turners Falls High School led the parade), emergency vehicle from six towns (fire trucks, ambulances, police cruisers, and an ATV rescue vehicle), and the kids on bikes, scooters and skateboards.

Did you try one of Kevin's Taco Potatoes at the Mohawk Music Association's Baked Potato Booth? A large valley-grown baked potato generously topped with taco-seasoned ground turkey, shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, and sour cream. Delicious!
